Brad White is a left-hand batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler who played 133 First-Class and List A games for the likes of Transvaal, Border and Easterns.
He burst onto the scene with South African School in 1988 and represented the national Under-21 side for two years.
White scored an impressive 4 000 First Class runs with a highest score of 180* against Eastern Province B, one of seven tons in the format. However, he rates a 159 against a Boland attack featuring Roger Telemachus, Henry Williams and Charl Willoughby a better knock, as was a 120 against a Natal bowling line-up spearheaded by Shaun Pollock and Lance Klusener.
Among his career highlights is winning the Benson & Hedges Series with Transvaal against Jonty Rhodes’ Natal in 1993, and reaching four finals with Border.
