Launch of veterans women's cricket in South Africa

The Veterans Cricket Association of South Africa (VCASA), an ancillary member of Cricket South Africa, has men’s leagues running in twelve provinces, namely Lions, Titans, Easterns, North Cape, Boland, Western Province, SWD, Eastern Province, Border, KZN Inland and KZN Coastal.

VCASA hosts interprovincial and club champs tournaments and participates in International Masters Cricket (IMC) tournaments and World Cups as the Proteas Veterans in the Over-40, Over-50 and Over-60s categories.

VCASA would now like to introduce Women’s Cricket for players over the age of forty to coincide with the possible introduction of an IMC Over-40s Women’s World Cup in 2026.

The association is calling on all women over the age of 40 years to register their interest to play veterans cricket using the following link: https://forms.gle/eKKCKk7itWVxovEWA.
